Whilst there currently isn't a fix, Blizzard has noted in their Known Issues blog post that "some cosmetics, items, and currency that players own are not showing up in their collections". This has led to some players finding certain (or all) previously owned cosmetics being absent upon launching into the game, regardless of merging accounts. With Overwatch 2 having just launched, Blizzard has encountered issues from launch day to the present. All currently owned skins from the original Overwatch should transfer across using the merging method listed above, meaning that regardless of which platform you purchased a particular skin on, should you link that platform account to for Overwatch 2, those cosmetics will be available once the merger is complete upon your next login.
